The Santa Barbara Coastal LTER (SBC LTER) has created a time series of Landsat-measured surface cover and biomass data for giant kelp in the western North American coastal region. The hydrogen sensor, validated for low hydrogen concentration measurements (0-1000 ppm), demonstrates a superior sensitivity, exceeding two orders of magnitude compared to existing FPI-based sensor designs.
